Another BAe 146 has come to the end of the road. Air Salvage International (ASI) began parting out former Air Wisconsin BAe 146-300 G-CDPF (msn E3132 ex N614AW). After being withdrawn by Air Wisconsin, she was ferried to Southend in September 2005. Hopes that she might find a new home were not realized, however, and were further set back when she suffered damage in a gale in January 2007. Dismantling is expected to take about three weeks, after which the remains will be transported by road to ASI’s facilities at Lasham Airfield for storage and further parts removal.
