Aer Arann begins BAe 146 operations

Nex Aviation began operating on behalf of Irish airline Aer Arann on May 1, using BAe 146-200 G-TBIC (msn E2025) to fly from Galway and Waterford to Amsterdam. The launch was marked with celebrations at both regional airports. The service, which will be flown four times a week, originates at Galway and stops at Waterford on its way to Amsterdam, then retraces its steps. A second 146-200, former CityJet series 200 EI-CNQ (msn E2031), is also due to join Nex Aviation and fly for Aer Arann. Both will be flown on Flightline‘s AOC, replacing Atlantic Airways.
