Another BAe 146 parted out

Another BAe 146 has reached the end of its runway. Parting out of former Ansett series 200 VH-JJT (msn E2098) began at Perth in late September. She had been stored at Perth since Ansett closed down in 2001. She was to have been taken over by the Midlandshire Technical and Further Education College for apprentice ground training, but this deal fell through, and she was later acquired by International Air Parts (IAP) for rotables recovery. She has now been stripped of all useful parts. The hulk will be donated to the airport’s fire department for training.
