The end of the summer saw the end of Nex Aviation‘s franchise deal with Aer Arann. Nex had been operating two BAe 146s on behalf of the Irish regional airline since 1 May, on services from Galway and Waterford to Amsterdam, Faro, Bordeaux, and Malaga. Flights to Bordeaux ended on 15 September, those to Faro ended on 22 September, and those to Malaga on 25 October. Services to all three destinations are being suspended until next summer. Aer Arann will continue services to Amsterdam using its own ATR72s.
