After spending some 40 months in storage, former Air Wisconsin BAe 146-300 N616AW (msn E3145) was ferried from Kingman, Arizona, to Hagerstown, Maryland, on 3 January. Air Tahoma had acquired her in 2007, intending to convert her to a freighter, but nothing ever came of that project. It is not known what plans her new owners have for her. N616AW’s departure leaves just one BAe 146 in storage at Kingman: series 200 N609AW (msn E2070). She had been intended to join new Dominican Republic operator Sol Airlines. N609AW is unlikely to leave anytime soon, however, as she is missing several major airframe parts — and the people responsible for the whereabouts of the parts are missing, as well.
