Heavy fog hampers MDLR operations

MDLR Airlines‘ operations were hampered by heavy fog in northern India in late December and early January, with MDLR’s base at Chandigarh particularly affected. Fog caused substantial disruptions from 20 to 25 December, and then again from 31 December to 4 January. On some days, all flights had to be cancelled, while on others substantial delays were experienced. MDLR operates three Avro RJ70s, but BAE Systems is attempting to repossess them for non-payment.
