Former Ansett BAe 146-300 N9070L (msn E3147) was broken up at Hurn, beginning in early April. She had been acquired by EAAC managing director Trevor S. Whetter in late 2005, along with N9086L (msn E3135), and ferried to Hurn in March 2006. She had been in storage at Hurn since. Useful parts were removed during 2010, but N9070L lingered on. The breakers finally caught up with her, however. Her tail was cut off on 1 April, and her wings followed a short time later. N9086L had already been broken up in June 2009.
