Berlin-based Cordner Aviation Group, a new company founded by BAE Systems veteran Stewart Cordner, has won an exclusive mandate to remarket Bulgaria Air‘s fleet of BAe 146s, as well as their VIP-configured Avro RJ70. Bulgaria Air is planning to replace its BAe 146s with Embraer 190s. The airline recently signed a lease agreement for three 190s for delivery in 2012. Bulgaria Air operates three BAe 146-200s, four -300s (one of which is currently flying for Iran’s Taban Air), and an Avro RJ70 in VIP configuration. Cordner Aviation Group has developed the “MultiJet” concept to highlight the unique capabilities of the BAe 146 and Avro RJ. It is partnering with several other firms: Design Q to design interiors; Inflite Engineering to undertake modifications and maintenance; and Cello Aviation to manage aircraft. The Group is also remarketing five Avro RJ85s and two BAe 146QCs on behalf of other operators.
