The first Avro RJ100 for Tajikistan’s Asian Express Airline has been painted in the airline’s colors at Norwich. Former Aegean RJ100 G-CGNT (msn E3374 ex SX-DVE) had been in storage at Southend since June 2010. After some maintenance by Inflight, she was ferried to Exeter on 14 August for further work, and on to Norwich on 22 September for painting. She was rolled-out on 2 October in Asian Express colors, and returned to Exeter the same day. Asian Express is also due acquire another former Aegean RJ100, as well as two former BA CityFlyer examples. It already has a former CityJet RJ85, EY-571 (msn E2363 ex EI-RJP).
