Greek airline Sky Wings suspended operations on 1 December. Its service between Athens and Kiev has been taken over by its Ukrainian partner airline, Khors Air. At the time of the suspension, Sky Wings’ fleet included a single Avro RJ100, SX-DMB (msn E3343), along with an Airbus A320 and a McDonnell Douglas MD-83. The other three former Aegean RJ100s that the airline had acquired in 2011 (SX-DMA msn E3341, SX-DMC msn E3358, and SX-DMD msn E3362) have been transferred to the Ukraine during the course of the year; several of them then found their way to Iran. It is unclear whether Sky Wings’ suspension of operations is intended to be temporary or permanent.
