After many delays, Bolivia’s Ecojet finally began operations on 24 November. RJ85 CP-2814 (msn E2278) operated the first departure, from the airline’s Cochabamba base to Sucre. The flight then continued to Santa Cruz before returning to Cochabamba. Meanwhile, RJ85 CP-2788 (msn E2278) flew from Cochabamba to Trinidad and Riberalta. The airline currently flies daily from Cochabamba to Sucre and on to Santa Cruz, three times a week from both Cochabamba and Sucre to Trinidad and to Riberalta, as well as daily between the latter towns. Tarija and Cobija will be added in the near future, as will additional frequencies between the current destinations.
