Avro RJ85 G-CFZM takes off from Kemble on 12 November on a test flight (Kev Slade)

Indonesia’s Rajawali Group will acquire former Royal Jet Avro RJ85 G-CFZM (msn E2299 ex A6-RJE). The Rajawali Group is a an industrial conglomerate, which operates in numerous sectors, including telecommunication, hotel, cement, consumer goods, retail, department store, and transportation. G-CFZM would be operated on its behalf by Premiair, which already operates a variety of VIP-configured aircraft on behalf of corporate customers. It is based at Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. G-CFZM has been in storage at Kemble for some time. In January 2011 she was prepared for a lease to India’s Jagson Airlines, but that lease fell through and she remained parked at Kemble. After receiving attention from Chevron, she made a test flight on 12 November, still wearing Jagson colors.
