Indonesian BAe 146 helps repatriate freed hostages

The Indonesian government chartered BAe 146-100 PK-TNV (msn E1124) to repatriate 10 Indonesian sailors held hostage by Abu Sayyaf Islamic militants in the Philippines. The sailors were abducted from their tugboat on 26 March. The freed hostages were flown to the Halim Perdanakhusuma airbase in Jakarta, where they arrived late in the evening of 1 May. VIP-configured PK-TNV is operated by TransNusa Air Services on behalf of Victory News, a daily newspaper in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.
