ASL BAe 146-300QT EC-LMR at Edinburgh (Gerry Hill)
ASL Airlines Spain has reduced it’s once eight-strong BAe 146-300QT fleet to only two aircraft. Since early May, the airline has only been operating three 146QTs. Another of these was withdrawn from use at the end of July: EC-MCK (msn E3153) flew her last service on the 28 July, 3V 1480/1481 from Shannon to Farnborough and back, and then was ferried to Liège as TAY489P. Now EC-LMR (msn E3151) and EC-MEO (msn E3186) are the only aircraft left in ASL’s fleet. Once they are retired, the airline will cease operations.
Correction: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated that EC-LMR was withdrawn from use in late July.
