Jota Aviation took delivery of its fourth BAe 146-300QT from ASL Airlines Spain on 14 August. EC-MEO (msn E3186) operated what turned out to be her last flight for the Spanish airline on 8 August, from Roma Ciampino to Liège, but had to divert to Antwerp with technical problems. She was later ferried back to Liège, and from there was ferried to Jota’s base at Southend on 14 August. She will become G-JOTF in Jota service, joining former fleetmates G-JOTC (msn E3166 ex EC-MHR), G-JOTD (msn E3168 ex EC-MID), and G-JOTE (msn E3182 ex EC-MFT). The delivery completes Jota’s purchase of 146QTs — although the airline added the tantalizing parenthetical “(for now)” to its announcement.
