Sydney Bansktown-based Pionair acquired a BAe 146-200QC from Titan Airways in April 2013, for its proposed Skyforce operation, but it failed to obtain the necessary approvals, and the 146 remained parked at Bankstown. In 2016, she received a contract to operate cargo flights within Australia using two BAe 146 freighters on behalf of Virgin Australia Cargo (which itself is operating on behalf of TNT). The first was placed into service in July 2016, and the second in September. A third BAe 146QT has also been acquired.
